Course Reflective Narrative
WLC 400: WLC Major Capstone, is a class that is required to graduate. During this class we have done a lot of research, for our Capstone project. We were giving tools, for all of us to use in our project. It has been challenging class, but at the same time I have learned so much from this class. It has been a class that requires so much time to get the e-portfolio done, and everything that is required for Capstone. During this class I chose to do my research on the "Thirteen Roses", thirteen females that were executed for their ideology. It happened on August 5th 1939, and by doing the research I have learned a lot about the incident, but I have also learned a lot about Spain's history.
I have been reading so many articles and some books, to learned more about the Thirteen Roses, and by doing this I have learned so much about: Spain's Second Republic (1931-1939), Spain's Civil War (1936-1939), Franco's Era (1939-1975), Spain's transition (1975-1978), and todays democracy in Spain. In this class as a student you can get out of it, as much as you put into it. Is a class were the professors give you the tools, and as a student you just have to utilize those tools, and get the work done. You have to keep up with the assignments, because if you don't, you won't be able to do all the work the night before everything is due. There was a lot of work to do, and a lot of presentations, where you can see the progress. Having the presentations help a lot, to get the work done. The feed back from professors and students was really valuable to me, because it helped me to do better in my topic.
